Sally Laing is one of New Zealand’s most skilful jewellers working with cloisonné (enamel). Born in the UK, Sally studied art and design graduating with a BA (Hons). Now living in New Zealand, her work is strongly influenced by the bush, beach and tides, sea and sky.
Sally uses the rich colours of the enamels and textured silver to create exquisite framed miniature still life brooches and necklaces.
Her childhood dream of living by the sea and bush was realised when she moved from Wellington to New Plymouth over ten years ago and it is from there that she continues to draw inspiration
