Masahiro Sasaki

Japanese glass artist Masahiro Sasaki lives and works in Nagoya, Japan and currently is Associate Professor of glass at Aichi University of Education.

He is a graduate of the prestigious Toyama Institute of Glass Art and has spent time at the Kanazawa Utatsuyama Craft Workshop, a traditional Japanese craft centre. In 2006 he was a guest artist for the Canadian Glass Conference at Red Deer.

He has exhibited widely throughout Japan where his work is held in a number of public institutions. He has also exhibited in the USA and in Spain.

Masahiro demonstrates extraordinary control of his medium producing organic forms of great delicacy.
