Grace Yu Piper is a Wellington-based contemporary jeweller who graduated from Whitireia Community Polytechnic in 2017 with a Bachelor of Applied Arts (Jewellery Design).

Through her work Yu Piper explores the functionality of jewellery and themes of cultural identity.

Yu Piper was selected to exhibit at Talente 2018 in Germany - a prestigious annual competition for new talent in the areas of design and technology.  The following year she was selected to exhibit at the international contemporary jewellery fair Schmuck in Munich. She has been invited by Trier University of Applied Sciences in Idar-Oberstein, Germany to undertake a Master of Fine Arts in Gemstones and Jewellery

Yu Piper is represented in private collections in New Zealand and overseas.
